I’ve had the Cube for just over one year now. I still like it a lot and would recommend it for someone who wants to get into 3D printing. Just keep in mind some of the peculiarities of 3D extrusion printing- proper gapping of the print table is critical to prevent clogging.
I describe the “ticking” noise that is heard during a clog- this noise is due to the feed gear slipping on the filament in the spool (because it is unable to push the filament through the clogged nozzle).
In the video, I forgot to mention that although the in-plane as-printed dimension can be quite far off from the as-drawn dimension, the out of plane (z-direction) dimension is usually spot on.
